Lawrence H. Summers set to speak at Converge22

Events

Lawrence H. Summers, one of the most accomplished economists and policy makers of his generation, is set to bring his wide-ranging insights and expertise to Converge22, a crypto ecosystem conference this September 27th - 30th in San Francisco.

Summers has been hugely influential in economic circles for decades. A former U.S. Treasury Secretary under President Bill Clinton and head of the National Economic Council under President Barack Obama, Summers helped lead the U.S. response to numerous global currency crises while spearheading the modernization of the U.S. financial regulatory framework to spur greater competition, innovation and stability. He is currently Director of the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at Harvard Kennedy School.

Summers will speak on Converge22’s main stage on Wednesday, September 28th.

He will join Vitalik Buterin, Co-Founder and Chief Scientist of the Ethereum blockchain, along with Kate Kallot, Stani Kulechov, Rebecca Liao, Anatoly Yakovenko and dozens of other leaders from the finance, tech and policy spheres who will address Converge22 attendees.

Converge22 is a first-of-its-kind gathering that will bring these worlds together to cross-pollinate and create a shared vision of what money can be and do for people and businesses. Hosted by Circle, the issuer of the USDC and EURC stablecoins, Converge22 will feature four days of speaking sessions, hands-on demos, networking and more.

Built on openness and accessibility, enabling global value-exchange that is nearly instant and free, USDC and EUROC and public blockchains are helping to usher in a new era of financial inclusion and opportunities worldwide.

Don’t miss this watershed moment in the history of crypto and finance.
