The latest attestation report on US dollar reserves backing USD coin is out. The report, issued by Grant Thorton, LLP, an independent accounting firm, states that as of May 31, 2020 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time (“PT”):

  • USD Coin (“USDC”) tokens issued and outstanding = 730,800,467 USDC
  • US Dollars held in custody accounts =$746,657,617
  • As of the report date and time, the issued and outstanding USDC tokens do not exceed the balance of the US Dollars held in custody accounts
