Circle Ventures: Our Purpose, Our Community

Introduced in November 2021, Circle Ventures was born to help build an open economy on the internet by partnering and investing with forward-thinking founders, venture funds, and operators to help foster growth across the crypto ecosystem. Our goal is to support the most compelling companies and exceptional leaders, and to help accelerate their development and contributions to our mission of raising global economic prosperity through the frictionless exchange of value. 

Today, we’re excited to launch our new dedicated website and the Circle Ventures blog, Perimeter. We’ll share updates about amazing founders, industry analysis on trends within crypto, perspectives from our partners, insights from the world of crypto ventures, and more.

We believe blockchains and digital assets will enable access to capital markets, payments, and fundamental financial resources for everyone, everywhere. Our partners and investments have clear synergy with our mission and ecosystem. And as we evolve our investment thesis, we’re keen to invest in community members who are enhancing the distribution and utility of USDC and Euro Coin.

With this in mind, we’ve built our platform on the following pillars:

Since our inception, we’ve been a part of over 65 investments that range from core Web3 building blocks such as credit protocols and on-chain payments applications, to layer-1 blockchains, and bridging infrastructure. 

It’s important to note that current market dynamics present this ecosystem with real near-term challenges. 

But we think that now is the time to build. And we’re here for the long haul.
