USDC and CCTP are coming soon to Injective. Learn what this means for the ecosystem.

We’re excited to announce that USDC and Circle CCTP are coming soon to Injective.
Injective is a high-performance Layer-1 (L1) blockchain purpose-built for onchain finance and institutions. Unlike general-purpose chains where trading infrastructure is built at the application layer, Injective embeds fully onchain financial primitives — including a decentralized central limit order book (CLOB), RWAs, binary options and more — that enable developers to build sophisticated trading and capital markets applications directly at the protocol layer.
The network is designed to deliver sub-second transaction finality and consistently low transaction fees (often under a cent), while supporting a onchain MultiVM environment that is capable of supporting a new standard of smart contracts across Ethereum (EVM) and Cosmos (WASM). This architecture is intended to allow developers to create advanced decentralized applications — spanning spot and derivatives trading, lending, structured products, and asset issuance — while offering everyone a unified user experience akin to modern fintech apps, but with the transparency and composability of onchain infrastructure.
With the upcoming launch of USDC and CCTP on Injective, the network will gain access to the world’s largest regulated1 stablecoin and secure crosschain transfers. This launch will unlock powerful new use cases for institutions, developers, traders, and users across the Injective ecosystem.
Benefits of USDC and CCTP on Injective
USDC on Injective is designed to provide a trusted, regulated, and native digital dollar that can be used across trading, staking, capital management, and other onchain activities. USDC on Injective offers benefits like:
- Access to a regulated,1 fully reserved stablecoin redeemable 1:1 for US dollars2
- Institutional on/offramps like Circle Mint3 for eligible users
- Easy integration into Injective apps
Meanwhile, CCTP makes it fast and easy to move USDC across supported blockchains without relying on wrapped assets. CCTP on Injective enables users to:
- Move USDC seamlessly and securely between Injective and other supported blockchains
- Build and use apps that support crosschain onboarding, trading, and liquidity management
Key use cases for USDC on Injective
USDC is intended to serve as a core collateral asset with 24/7 settlement across the Injective ecosystem, supporting both retail and institutional trading activity. As a natively issued, dollar-denominated stablecoin, USDC provides a regulated and highly liquid base asset for spot and derivatives markets, lending protocols, RWAs, and structured onchain applications built on Injective.
As AI-powered applications and autonomous agents increasingly participate in onchain markets, USDC on Injective can serve as a trusted settlement asset for automated trading strategies, dynamic liquidity management, and real-time risk modeling — supporting the growth of an emerging agentic economy.
A key driver of onchain utility is crosschain liquidity. Injective’s integrations across Ethereum, Solana, and Cosmos enable assets and applications to interact across ecosystems. Through CCTP, USDC can move natively between supported blockchains without relying on wrapped assets, reducing liquidity fragmentation and simplifying crosschain deposits, trading, and capital allocation.
With Injective soon to be among the blockchains supporting native USDC issuance and the CCTP network, liquidity can more efficiently flow between Injective and other supported blockchains. This strengthens capital efficiency for users, making it easier to open and manage trading positions, provide liquidity, lend or stake assets, and rebalance funds across chains and onchain applications.
