Services we want to see more of in Circle’s Agent Marketplace

The Circle Agent Marketplace already includes services that agents can discover, call, and pay for at the moment. We want to expand the range and depth of those offerings across three core categories, creating more opportunities for API providers to package existing capabilities as agent-ready services and unlock new use cases.

Data and intelligence

Agents need trusted information like market data, financial analysis, company research, crypto intelligence, RWA data, risk signals, and specialized knowledge sources to make decisions. Concrete examples of the kinds of trusted information agents might need include stock and crypto market data APIs, token analytics, RWA pricing feeds, filings search, lead enrichment, compliance checks, and domain-specific expert models.

Digital infrastructure 

Agents need tools that help them accomplish tasks. This includes compute, storage, browser automation, web deployment, email, SMS, identity, and other infrastructure services they can use on demand.

Examples include browser automation endpoints, hosted compute, data storage, website deployment, email and SMS APIs, scraping services, authentication tools, and workflow infrastructure.

Real-world execution 

Agents need ways to act beyond the browser. This includes delivery, field services, verification, logistics, and other actions that require a person, device, or physical-world process.

Examples include local delivery, document pickup, property or vehicle inspection, storefront photography, in-person verification, equipment installation, and other task-based services.

Why pay-per-use APIs matter for the agent economy

This is an early market, and the use cases are still being defined. That is the opportunity. The shape of agent-native services, their pricing, and their discovery are all being decided right now, and the decisions made in the next year will set how money moves when agents transact on behalf of people. Ultimately, an agent that can transact does more on your behalf than one that cannot.
