We’re excited to announce that native USDC and CCTP V2 are coming soon to Sei!

With the upcoming launch of native USDC and CCTP V2 on Sei, the network will gain access to the world’s largest regulated2 stablecoin and frictionless crosschain transfers to 13 blockchains. This launch empowers developers to build across a variety of use cases from DeFi and gaming to social, payments, and more.
USDC on Sei vs. USDC for Sei via Noble
Today, USDC circulating on Sei comes from Noble via IBC. While USDC for Sei via Noble will continue to exist at launch, Circle and the Sei Development Foundation will work with the ecosystem on a migration plan to help shift liquidity to native USDC on Sei over time.

With CCTP V2, developers will be able to:
