Circle engaged Deloitte & Touche LLP to perform a SOC 2 Type 2 report related to its Mint and Wallets system for period covering October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025.
Circle received a SOC 2 Type 2 examination report over the Circle Mint and Wallets system. The independent examination tested the design and operating effectiveness of security and technology controls.

Trust and security are foundational to any financial platform, especially one operating at global scale. To that end, Circle engaged Deloitte & Touche LLP to perform a SOC 2 Type 2 examination report. The report was issued on December 18, 2025.
SOC 2 controls examination report
Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a SOC 2 examination is a report on controls at a service organization relevant to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, or privacy. A Type 2 report evaluates whether those controls were designed and operating effectively throughout the examination period.
As part of this examination, cybersecurity and technology controls across Circle’s environment were tested. These controls cover areas including system access, monitoring, incident response, data protection, and change management.
