We added support for EOAs and 7 blockchains to Circle Paymaster, a permissionless product for developers that enables users to pay gas fees in USDC. Learn more.

We're excited to announce important enhancements to Circle Paymaster, our permissionless product for developers that enables users to pay gas fees in USDC.
Important enhancements to Circle Paymaster
Support for Externally Owned Accounts (EOAs)
Paymaster now supports EIP-7702, enabling compatibility with externally owned accounts (EOAs). This means that EOA wallets can now benefit from paying gas fees in USDC, without needing to migrate to smart contract accounts (SCAs).
Users with traditional wallets can now enjoy the same streamlined transaction experience, eliminating the need to manage native tokens across multiple chains. This significantly reduces friction for mainstream users and institutions alike.
Multichain Expansion
In addition to our existing support for Arbitrum and Base, Paymaster is now available on Ethereum, OP Mainnet, and Polygon PoS, with Avalanche and Unichain coming soon.
This expansion brings the power of gas abstraction to the most widely-used EVM-compatible blockchains, creating a more unified and accessible transaction experience across the onchain ecosystem.
Get Started Today
Paymaster's 10% fee on gas is waived until 9 AM Pacific Time on July 1, 2025, so your users can experience these new capabilities without this additional cost.
Visit our docs for comprehensive guides or use SDKs from our partners, Alchemy and ZeroDev.
We look forward to seeing what you build with these powerful new capabilities!
