Circle is now a member of both the TRUST and GTR networks, providing access to a broader range of VASPs and enabling jurisdiction-agnostic coverage for compliant digital-asset transfers.

Integration adds Global Travel Rule (GTR) network support to Circle’s existing travel rule compliance efforts, cementing industry-leading, multi-network approach to FATF Travel Rule obligations
Circle has joined the Global Travel Rule (GTR) network—a Binance-led alliance of Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) committed to implementing the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Travel Rule for virtual asset transfers. Circle is now a member of both the TRUST and GTR networks, providing access to a broader range of VASPs and enabling jurisdiction-agnostic coverage for compliant digital-asset transfers.
This membership immediately:
- Provides Circle with an additional source of Travel Rule-compliant information - strengthening Circle’s multi-network compliance infrastructure by adding another channel for secure Travel Rule data exchange.
- Strengthens key relationships with leading exchanges and reinforces Circle’s commitment to a compliance-first infrastructure.
“As jurisdictions around the world implement the Travel Rule, Circle remains committed to meeting these evolving standards with clarity and consistency. By participating in both GTR and TRUST, we’re reinforcing the global compliance infrastructure for USDC transactions between regulated institutions—enabling secure, cross-border flows for enterprise payments, fintech platforms, and financial partners. The participation of major VASPs such as Binance and HashKey strengthens GTR as a robust expansion of our Travel Rule compliance, enhancing our ability to facilitate compliant digital asset transfers across key markets, including Singapore and France.” said Mandeep Walia, Chief Compliance and Risk Officer at Circle
“Circle’s entry into GTR underscores the network’s mission: creating a seamless, secure pathway for VASPs to share required data without compromising user privacy. We’re delighted to welcome Circle and look forward to deepening our collaboration to advance responsible innovation.” added Noah Perlman, Chief Compliance Officer at Binance.
“We are happy to welcome Circle into the Global Travel Rule network. Their participation is a recognition of our solution’s data privacy and secure sharing strategy in meeting the requirements within the Travel Rule framework. Today’s announcement also reinforces our shared commitment to advancing responsible innovation and fostering a secure, interoperable digital asset ecosystem worldwide. We anticipate continued growth of our network in the near future as the industry continues to evolve," shared Jack Wong, Strategic Partnerships Lead at Global Travel Rule.
