The partnership includes support for USDC on Robinhood Crypto and the new web3 wallet, Learn and Earn programs, and integration with Circle’s payment infrastructure.
SAN FRANCISCO — SEPT 28, 2022 — Today, at Converge22, Circle Internet Financial, a global digital financial technology firm and the issuer of USD Coin (USDC) and Euro Coin (EUROC), has announced a partnership with Robinhood Markets, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOOD) to enable customers on Robinhood Crypto and the new Robinhood Wallet to buy and sell USDC, as well as access exclusive in-app educational modules to earn USDC rewards. Additionally, Robinhood will also leverage Circle’s payment infrastructure to improve settlements across Robinhood products, to be fully integrated in early 2023.
Last week, Robinhood announced the listing of USDC on Robinhood Crypto for customers to buy, sell, and receive USDC on ethereum and polygon networks. Adding to that news, the partnership with Circle aims to tackle the broader themes of crypto utility and adoption and will develop free educational programs to teach customers about USDC and stablecoin fundamentals. Customers who complete the courses will be eligible to receive rewards, which will be paid out in USDC.

Robinhood also announced yesterday the launch of its Robinhood Wallet beta, a self-custody, web3 wallet, which supports USDC as the base trading pair and enables customers to access and spend USDC.
