Jeremy is responsible for strategy, vision and operating execution at Circle. He brings more than two decades of experience building and leading global internet software platforms, including founder and CEO of Brightcove, technologist and entrepreneur in residence at General Catalyst, CTO of Macromedia, and co-founder and CTO of Allaire Corporation.

Over twenty years in the financial services industry, notably including being the first-ever Deputy Director of the U.S. CFPB, Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group at Deutsche Bank Securities, and currently serving as Managing Director of Fenway Summer LLC and FS Venture Capital LLC.

Decades of senior operating experience, including a decade as a leading venture capitalist, and pioneering PC software companies such as Lotus, Ashton Tate, Frame Technology and Apple’s Claris division. Founding managing partner of General Catalyst Partners.

Co-founder and Board Director of Circle and previously its President and CTO, Sean has decades of experience creating global products and platforms, apps and games, languages and tools, standards and technical infrastructure. He is currently Founder and Managing Director of the Rallylab venture studio investment group and was previously Founder of Sevenchord Software, Software Architect at Brightcove, and Principal Scientist at Adobe.

Most recently a partner and senior leader at Ernst & Young, having retired in June 2021 following more than 40 years of service and leadership. Previously held other roles within EY, the Financial Accounting Standards Board and Citigroup, while serving on the board and audit committee of Save the Children, U.S.

Over three decades of experience as a former risk management executive at Goldman Sachs and as a prominent advisor for leading financial institutions. As former Chief Risk Officer of Goldman Sachs, he served on the Management Committee and was Co-Chair of the Firmwide Risk Committee and other control-related committees.

More than three decades of experience in the tech industry, including various leadership roles at Google and Yahoo. Previously co-founded video analysis startup, Virage. Angel investor in over 150 startups and currently a General Partner at Wisdom Ventures.

Currently serving as Chair, Audit Committee and member of other standing committees of the board of directors at Goldman Sachs and InBev. Also director at Cisco Systems and is Chairman and formerly served as CFO of MMC, as well as CEO at its subsidiary Mercer LLC, a global leader in human resource consulting outsourcing and investment services. Previous to MMC, she was the CFO of Delta Airlines.

  1. USDC and EURC are issued through regulated entities of Circle. A list of Circle’s regulatory authorizations can be found here.
  2. USDC is backed by the equivalent value of US dollar denominated assets held as reserves for the benefit of USDC holders. Cash is held at regulated financial institutions. The portfolio of the Circle Reserve Fund, which can contain short-dated US Treasuries, overnight US Treasury repurchase agreements, and cash, is custodied at The Bank of New York Mellon and is managed by BlackRock.
  3. USYC is issued by Circle International Bermuda Limited, regulated by Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), and represents an interest in a Cayman Islands mutual fund licensed by Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA). Information about USYC is directed only to entities who are not US Persons, as defined in Regulation S under the Securities Act of 1933.
  4. Circle Technology Services, LLC (CTS) is the operator of Circle Payments Network (CPN) and offers products and services to financial institutions that participate in CPN to facilitate their CPN access and integration. CPN connects participating financial institutions around the world, with CTS serving as the technology service provider to participating financial institutions. While CTS does not hold funds or manage accounts on behalf of customers, we enable the global ecosystem of participating financial institutions to connect directly with each other, communicate securely, and settle directly with each other. CTS is not a party to transactions between participating financial institutions facilitated by CPN who use CPN to execute transactions at their own risk. Use of CPN is subject to the CPN Rules and the CPN Participation Agreement between CTS and a participating financial institution.
