Learn about expanded support for Polygon PoS Amoy testnet to better serve developers building with Circle. We encourage developers to migrate to Amoy at your earliest convenience.
We're expanding support for USDC on Polygon PoS Amoy testnet to better serve developers building with Circle’s stablecoin protocols and platform services.
Please note that Polygon PoS Mumbai testnet is expected to no longer be actively maintained by the community moving forward. We encourage developers to migrate to Amoy at your earliest convenience.

We expect a few hours of downtime for Circle Mint Sandbox APIs during the migration to Amoy for USDC. Please refer to BuildOnCircle on X and our Discord for daily updates.
What is changing?
- USDC will have a new Polygon PoS Amoy testnet address.
- CCTP will have new Polygon PoS Amoy testnet addresses. The attestation API will no longer support Polygon PoS Mumbai once the migration takes place.
- Faucet will no longer support USDC on Polygon PoS Mumbai. Instead, you’ll be able to select and receive USDC on Polygon PoS Amoy.
- Circle Mint deposit addresses created on Polygon PoS Mumbai will be cleared. Sending USDC to cleared addresses will result in lost funds in Circle Mint sandbox. Any historical transfers and existing balances will remain the same.
- Programmable Wallets will add support for Polygon PoS Amoy on March 27, and deprecate support for Polygon PoS Mumbai on April 11. At that time, APIs will no longer reflect data from Polygon PoS Mumbai.
- Smart Contract Platform will add support for Polygon PoS Amoy with API access by March 27 and support for Console access expected by end of April. Support for Polygon PoS Mumbai will be deprecated by April 11. At that time, APIs will no longer reflect data from Polygon PoS Mumbai.
