Roberto Sallouti is CEO and a board member of BTG Pactual. He is also president of the boards of Inteli and Banco Pan, and board member of V.tal, Wharton Latin America, Unicef Brasil and Parceiros da Educação. Sallouti holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined BTG Pactual in 1994 and became partner in 1998. He started his career in fixed income, became COO in 2008 and CEO in 2015. As a philanthropist, Sallouti has dedicated his efforts to education, being recognized for his efforts by the Brazil Foundation in 2019. He is co-founder of Inteli – Institute of Technology and Leadership – a nonprofit university committed to developing the future tech leaders in Brazil, has supported various education initiatives for public school students through his family’s Instituto V5, and endowed scholarships at Wharton, Graded and Inteli.
